New artists at Tamarack

BECKLEY, W.Va. -- Thirty-four artisans were juried into Tamarack: The Best of West Virginia at a recent jury session. Jury sessions are held twice a year in craft, fine craft and fine art categories.

During the jury process, artisans receive professional critiques from their peers. Once juried into Tamarack, artisans may then sell their products to Tamarack. They also become eligible for mentoring, apprenticeships, opportunities for financial assistance to attend wholesale and consumer shows, and training activities sponsored by the Tamarack Foundation.

Tamarack, open daily from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Call 888-262-7225 or visit www.tamarackwv.com.
