Announcement: Tamarack has juried my Wooden Frame Boxes to sell at the Tamarack retail store in Beckley, WV and I have been accepted! I am honored to be chosen to represent the very best of West Virginia Artists!
Tamarack is the nation’s first statewide collection of hand-made crafts, arts and cuisine. At Tamarack the artisans of West Virginia offer their finest creations, including glass-blown decanters, wood-carved tables, pottery vases, hand-woven baskets, canned preserves, specialty herbs, spices, wooden frame boxes, stained glass and much, much more. But Tamarack is more than a retail store, featuring 59,000 square feet of juried crafts, working art studios for resident artisans, a 178-seat theater, fine art gallery and A Taste of West Virginia food court all under one roof. Visitors don’t just browse through shelves, they watch artists at work, taste the foods of local producers, experience nature and enjoy hours of entertainment. When visitors leave Tamarack, they take home memories from the Best of West Virginia.

Wooden Frame Boxes
Being a Certified Picture Framer sparked my ideas for creating my wooden frame boxes; and a need to make use of the beautiful leftover materials from my framing projects. I design and sell original & functional works of art combining wood, paper and glass; increasing my range of design and providing unique color, texture and shape combinations to my artwork. My studio reuses, recycles & re-purposes all materials producing less waste, creating beautiful & functional artwork and promoting art & culture in West Virginia. I am proud of my beautiful home state of West Virginia and often choose to showcase its beauty, history and culture in many of my works.
